I realize that advertisements and banners are a necessary evil. And I’ve never once complained about one.
But OMG, this Root Insurance one is the worst. Every time I change screens, that stupid car goes around the screen (which is fine), but then I have to zoom in so I can click that tiny little “X” to close the advertisement before I can do anything else

Is there anything we can do to get rid of this one?
(Maybe I’m the only one)

Yeah I noticed that too when I am on the forum on my phone.

Incredibly annoying

I'll give my ad integration team until the end of today then I'll just disable advertising. I bet that'll get some attention.

I have never seen an ad on here. I only use my phone.

It’s been happening to me every time I use my phone to access the forum for like the past 3 weeks

I pretty much only use my phone as well. The overwhelming majority of adds are non intrusive and I don’t even notice them

They've made some changes -- is it gone now for you?

That kind of annoying ad is not allowed to be served on the site, so we're back tracking to see who (each ad is a real time auction) has the crappy seller in their network. We've turned on only highly trusted ad partners for now.

Appreciate the effort

Tapatalk has an annoying ass ad that you are forced sit thru trying to make you buy the VIP version. But that’s the app’s doing not the forums.

It’s back... makes the forum almost unreadable

Now there are Uber ears and Kia ads doing the same thing

Thankful that I don’t see any ads let alone this root insurance ad.

I sincerely appreciate the fact that you’re trying to fix this. Obviously, it’s not super simple.

My question, how can we help? When it pops back up, should we PM you? Is posting here sufficient?

No issues on my lap top.

On my phone I get root insurance, uber eats, and kia ads now. I have to click a miniscule x at the bottom of the screen before it will let me go back or forward..
