He is obviously great because you never last at a job that long unless you are doing good things and they see value in keeping you.
Sorry, they are hiring me instead. I have no actual experience, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night..
But do you also have zero outright conference championships in football, zero March Madness appearances, zero mens and womens basketball regular season championships, and zero baseball super regional appearances?
I took us to 2 National football titles in NCAA 2013. Teiss can’t beat that

I'm going to miss him but we are in a different phase as a program and could be a good thing to have a different perspective
Absolutely correct on all points you’ve made.
I also think the change will be good for both parties

Should be but like all hires sometimes its a crap shoot. If I remember right Dean Lee was hired because he was supposed to be able to raise money. I don't think that panned out.

RE: Mohajir to UCF?
This is what showed up at the "top" when I typed in Larry Teis on the internet:
Athletic Director Larry Teis, who has held the position since 2004, has helped build Texas State's athletic department up from next to nothing. Yet he has also been a lightning rod for controversy and heated invective during much of his time in office.
Don't know if he was brought up seriously or not, but what is the "lightening rod for controversy" and "heated invective" all about.

The one most of us remember was a while back he said he wasn't interested in the small fish donors and he was focused on the big fish. He alienated the majority of the fan base.
Here is a little to read about.
