Announcers are awful. Play-by-play guy forgot David DeJulius's name momentarily and called Mike Saunders "Sanders." Color commentator has been calling Vogt "Vot."

RE: Tulane Game Thread
What is Banks doing facing his man and hugging him on the box out? I know he's a walk on, but holy crap... even a high school player should know how to box out.

DeJulius is an incredible defensive rebounder for a little guard.

Williams should get 30 on these knuckleheads.

He stuffs the staff sheet a la Jason Kidd.

There's no doubt in my mind we have the talent advantage, even without Harvey and Dou.

The announcer just called Davenport a backup point guard

It would be nice to see Davenport get hot today.

Since this is an ESPN + broadcast, I assume these announcers are Tulane guys -- right? They might be the worst I've heard since that game at Bowling Green years back.

On cue he settles for a pump fake corner 3 with 2 guys in front of his. Frustrating.

Some players just have a nose for the ball. Not something that can really be taught. He definitely has it.

Eason really needs to work on developing an "edge" to play at this level. He's clearly always been the biggest and most talented kid on the court. That dog doesn't hunt at this level. His focus is to lazy out there. He's got to get his head more into the game. That toss out of bounds isn't the first time this year. KW like.

Not a good start, I wish they would work on offense to get good looks close to the basket.

I think the announcers for the Bowling Green game were college kids, it was rough. I wish they could work out a deal with local radio guys, so we could hear the WLW call.

Tulane is playing great defense. They're denying all the post entry passes, then doubling when Vogt touches the ball.

If we had a couple competent shooters, he would be a legit threat for a Jason Kidd 10-10-10 triple double.

Eason scares me, because he does seem to have that Keith Williams like laziness/lack of focus. I'll give him some leeway now likely coming off COVID and being easily winded, but he needs to get his head out of his ass ASAP.
