We don't hit much for power and our pitching is decent for the top starters and Cone, but not much else. Time to start recruiting.

These were two decent wins over a very good Richmond team that was 10-4 going into our series.
Perhaps we're turning it around.

I wouldn't call Richmond a very good team. Their rpi is worse than ours.

Today WM (RPI 163) take on UVA (RPI 72) at 4 pm.

If you're not watching, we're in the 10th tied 6-6.

UVA wins it in the 12th, but a great game. W&M was down 4-0 through 3 innings and was down 4-3 going into the 9th. They nearly had the go ahead run in the 10th, as Hunter Hart singled with runners on first and second with two outs, and Matthew Trehub was thrown out at home on a VERY close play. Tribe put runners on second base in the 11th and 12th as well, but just couldn't get the extra hit.

It was a lot of fun watching them these past few days. Sure wish we could produce an adequate broadcast on our home games.

Another miserable day for the baseball team, losing twice at Ellon. The pitching continued on its subpar way, giving up 20 runs
in 13-7, 7-6 beatings. Strain had another poor game, giving up another eight runs starting the opening game of the twinbill.

Team is now 6-16 (3-11 on the road) and, while the hitting has come around in recent weeks with Ben Williamson hitting in 17
consecutive games through yesterday, the pitching is as bad as it can be.

Better recruit some good pitchers!

Another languid loss at Elon yesterday...this time an 8-0 pasting! Three weekend games lost by a combined score of 28-13.

Our pitching has completely collapsed.

Another brutal home loss yesterday, this time an 8-3 defeat at home against VCU...the Rams beat us four straight this spring.

There is no semblance of pitching remaining on the Tribe as our team ERA is in the stratosphere. Team record now 6-18 as this season can't end soon enough.

My entire 2020-2021 sports seasons have fit this definition. Not a lot to cheer about, looking forward to the fall.
