RE: UT vs Ball State - Rockets Lose 81-67
Everyone went cold in one game and BSU shot better than normal. Unfortunate series of events.
This is the story of 2020 for almost all teams except for a handful of teams. There are a lot of 5 loss teams across college basketball.
Go Rockets!

It's the one-invite league that's on minds I think. And probably some concern that adjustments if any didn't stop the drastic large lead to large loss that occurred. Not the 5 losses.
I think most here have hit the nail. Trying to win without depth, particularly if it goes to tournament, not a good plan. They're tired. There's some hobbling. This is even without injuries because Coach K is still only going to play 7.

Yeap and that maybe a problem going further. We will see against BGSU and at UB.

I don’t think we can make a correlation yet that depth issues resulting in Toledo only playing 7 regularly was the reason for their loss at Ball St. Yes, they did not play their normal game and Ball St took advantage of it and came out with a victory. Now if they come out against BG on Saturday and play a similar game and then continue that trend going forward, then you might be on to something. If the coaching staff thought that Komagum and/or Marenka could give us meaningful minutes, they would be out on the floor to spell our post players. I think they have done an excellent job managing playing time for our 7 man rotation, as other than the late game losses at Akron and Ball St, the Rockets have played well down the stretch which I think indicates they are not playing tired at end of games. Will it catch up with them during these last 7 games or in Cleveland? That is to be determined. FYI, the average starter minutes per game for each of the 8 current Tournament Seeds are as follows:
Toledo (31.6), Ohio (30.2), Miami (29.6), Buffalo (29), BG (28.6), Kent (28.2), Ball St (27.2), Akron (26.4)
