Aggies looking much better tonight. Clayton Henry having a good half, however many fouls he has.

Cal Bap playing well also. They are talented. Almost a sneaky team. Armstrong and Nottage are crafty to be sure. Whatever move either make, they make it look easy, and its not always the same old playground moves that are all so many players have. These guys have been coached. Rowell outside, and Gak inside make you pay as well.

Should be a good second half.

I think at this point, anyone can beat the Aggies. Not lacking talent. Lacking practice and game experience. Hopefully we get enough before Las Vegas.

But need to give Baptist credit tonight. They shot really good tonight.

Yeah, NMSU had too many defensive break downs and gave them plenty of opportunities behind the arc. You just can't make it that easy for a team with their shooting ability.

The Aggies can be a very good team by the WAC tournament time. In the meantime, I'm not exactly sure what the process will look like to get there, but they looked enough like themselves tonight to make me pretty sure Jans will be able to coax it out of them.

NMSU lacks chemistry. The only Alpha we have among our seniors is Tillman; but he is not the sharpest tool in the shed with his basketball IQ. I think Jans needs to start coaching this team to build the confidence among his younger players for the future. His Seniors have plateaued in talent and have taken us about as far as they can.

I would not say the Seniors have plateaued, but they are inconsistent. Henry is improving every game. McCants has plenty of potential but he is hit or miss. Might be a confidence issue. Gilyard is steady . Cant say much about the new seniors though.

Great win for CBU, but I would not be too hard on your team. Before last weekend, they had played one D1 opponent. In a normal season, they would be further along. There is just no substitute for playing real games against D1 opponents twice a week.

Congrats to CBU. They’re as good as advertised when it comes to their shooting. I’ve never seen a team make so many damn floaters. Part missed defensive assignments on us but credit to CBUs offense. Gak is a handful too. Looking forward to tonight’s games and hopefully a different result.

I don’t think anyone on our team has plateaued. I think we’re just getting going. Just my opinion though.

That first half was Aggie basketball. The team is playing with so much more energy. I hope we can continue to play with that energy the last 20 minutes.

Rice might not win the WAC Player of the Year award but he is clearly the best player in the WAC.

Great win Aggies. Definitely a confidence booster. Looking like the Aggies of old. Should be a great WAC tournament if we have one.

Not to take away from GCU's and CBU's wins against us, but if we would have had a couple more D-I games before the start of the conference play, those games might have looked very different.

We had three 4* recruits getting garbage minutes at the end of the game. I sure hope they can replace our worthless seniors.

Gilyard and Tillman were solid tonight as well as Henry. McKines didn't start well but he finished strong. Not sure what game you were watching tonight. NMSU pretty much dominated Cal Baptist all night. The defense was great tonight.
