In a contract obtained by WMBF News, the university more than doubled Chadwell’s base salary. He is now set to receive a base salary of $850,000 this calendar year as part his newly renegotiated contract extension set to run through the end of 2027.
The contract calls for a $50,000 increase each year, concluding with a base pay of $1,150,000 in 2027.
With the addition of potential bonuses, Chadwell could receive up to $2,150,000 in 2021.

We will see if Coastal is for real or if they simply took advantage of the COVID issues everyone else except them (apparently) had.

for what its worth, I think Coastal will be for real in 2021. Dont know if the record will look the exact same but they should be a legit contender in conference and their OCC is pretty easy.

CCU range of conference wins is 5-8, much like 2-3 other programs.

Good for him, that's a lot of money. If I had to place a bet on it, I'd guess that in a few years, a fair number of Coastal folks are questioning if they should have jumped so fast, but WTF do I know. (As noted above, footballs do bounce funny.) It'd be great if he proves me wrong and Coastal has legit staying power.

Their stud QB was only a freshman this year. Chadwell is in a good situation.

Yea but he has to contend with GS and App state to earn his keep. Good luck with that.

I think that will put him second in the Sun Belt behind Napier.
