I don't see it popping up now. I'll continue to monitor and let you know if I see it any more. Thanks.

BTW, I wouldn't mind the add if it stayed out of your way, but it actually locks your ability to move through the treads while it was doing its car race around the outside of the screen.

That kind of annoying ad is not allowed to be served on the site, so we're back tracking to see who (each ad is a real time auction) has the crappy seller in their network. We've turned on only highly trusted ad partners for now.

Now it's Uber Eats. Same stupid car going around the screen and tiny "x" that you can't hit.

I'll let them know. They've been cutting on sources one by one and waiting to see where it's coming in on.

I had the insurance ad again this morning. I’ve also had the Uber eats and a Kia Optima one.

RE: Root insurance popup
Hello, I'm Paul and I'm part of the team that helps manage the advertising on the site. I want to apologize for the annoyance, and thank everyone for their reports.

This creative that sticks to the bottom of the page should *not* be appearing on the site. It seems to be served as part of a standard display banner. We have a debug tool to report bad ads, however I'm not sure it will help because the bad ad is piggybacking on a legitimate one. However I'd like to try anyways. For any of you who are seeing this ad, can you please open this link below? It will add a small badge to the very bottom right hand corner of the page if you scroll all the way down to the footer. If you see the creative again, click the badge and submit a report. Hopefully it will capture enough information to narrow down the source.

Any additional info you can provide like your device, state, etc.. could also be helpful.

Thanks everyone

Thanks Paul and thanks GTS! I love this board but that Root ad came up every single time I moved from one page to another. I’m so glad it’s gone

RE: Root insurance popup
I’m still getting the root ad. Saw it several times last night before I saw this post. Have only seen it once since and unfortunately it covers the debug button so that’s not working.

I was so frustrated with this thing last week that I actually went to the Root Insurance webpage looking for a way to let them know how ****** their is but couldn’t find anything other than their email address for roadside assistance.

Click the X top right on the ad to make it drop out. Then click debug.
