In December 2018, I changed my CSNbbs signature to draw attention to gold. In January 2021 I changed it to draw attention to GILT and NOVS.

What was the motive? Was it just to brag?

Consider the results if anyone invested in these opportunities in a timely manner. GLD is up 41% today. But the best opportunities came last month. GILT and NOVS were special situations. Too good not to be shared. GILT was experiencing revenue growth and in position for more. Buying NOVS was getting a stock before it went public. Purchase of either GILT or NOVS would have doubled your money in less than a month. You can lead a horse to water but ...

So, why were attentions drawn to these ticker symbols?

BTW, I was paid to develop my first, but not last, stock market
software in 1971. It was ran on a super computer, the CDC 6600.
Going to UH leads to great opportunities. Did when I graduated
and does today. It's why UH is one of the top 100 universities
in the World in producing millionaires.

I actually noticed it. And tried to figure it out in my head. I don’t even remember if there was a link. But I did look at those symbols, and had no clue what they were. I just shrugged it and thought it was Cougar related.
