Well, for one, I watched it, and I loved it. You really should have seen the second half. It was awesome!
The was about as tale of 2 halves as I've ever seen even though I missed watching the first 10 or so minutes. The inside rebounding was like "is Marshall trying?" If we could make a layup in the 1st half the game might have looked a little different. I think I heard on radio on my way home we were out rebounding them like somethingteen to 2 but only scored on 1 of the offensive rebounds. It was like rebound, brick, rebound, brick, rebound brick.

Check this out. We hit 65.7% of our FGs in the second half. 65.7%!

And the bench/freshmen got experience. I know Green contributed, but his first half was horrid, again

The only question from this, is what could've happened in tonight's game that would've changed your response? If it was a blow out win, would that have changed your response/reaction/etc.? Most likely no, so in that case, there really isn't any point in posting in any CUSA basketball boards this season. Regardless of what people think of the state of ODU basketball, and the state of college basketball w/ COVID, this was a great game to watch, and I was definitely entertained and glad I was there to watch it.

Thank you Gov. Northam for not allowing me to bet on ODU games. Great gutsy win. Go Monarchs!

Yes, BigBlue misspoke, in that no "freshman" played. Our current freshmen aren't ready to play. That has been the case for over 10+years. This is a similar argument to last year with Hunter. Are we that upset with his performance this evening? It has already been stated on these boards that Shanu is not going to play this year, so we can put that to bed. The other is O'Connell, and the rotation tonight was holding their own, so he didn't have to go in.

RE: Marshall weekend
Can someone please explain why they put the score and time graphic in the middle, not quite at the bottom, of the screen? Seems to always be in the way of almost all play from the standard camera angle. I am sure there is a logical reason. But it is a terrible look.

Fun game to watch in the 2nd half. Boys played with heart. Ezikpe, Reece, and Trice were awesome. We got very lucky that Marshall missed numerous FTs late, and that last MU heave was a joke, but will take the W.

outscore WKU for a 69-66 victory
My seats are near the opposing team’s tunnel. I won’t say who it was but someone was screaming “21 to nothing!” Very very loud as they were exiting! They were very purposefully looking straight ahead.

Congratulations on being one of the 250. This reminds me of a question I had. Does the opposing team get an allotment of tickets to the game? I thought I heard some Marshall fans during their early runs.

I have no idea how to even watch ODU games anymore. I would possibly listen on the radio though, but haven't for a couple years.

I don't do ESPN+. The radio feed is fine by me, although last night's broadcast cut off as soon as the game was over. No post-game coach's recap.
I wonder if that was quarantine related?

After I watch the game I always switch to the radio for post game. JJ came on last night and was pretty excited. Said he hope we turned a corner last night. Also mentioned how he thought we had an advantage inside. Sure looks that way.
