Its now been 15 months since the NCAA decided that James Wiseman was ineligible and Anfernee Hardaway was in violation of NCAA rules since he gave Ms. Wiseman a few thousand bucks to move her family to Memphis and, even though he wasn't Memphis' coach and even though it obviously had nothing to do with University of Memphis recruiting, that Hardaway was a booster at the time and therefore an evil NCAA rule breaker, unlike dozens of P5 schools with far worse violations.
The NCAA created a new punishment body, Independent Accountability Resolution Process, IARP, with the Hardaway/Wiseman case as their first punishment to hand out.
15 f@#&ing months later...crickets...

The abnormally long time the NCAA usually takes is exaggerated by that pandemic thing which has taken an abnormally long time and magnified it into an incredibly long time.

A) Waiting to see if Memphis plays itself on the bubble, then they will pull the rug out with a postseason ban.
B) If Memphis fails to get on the NCAA bubble, they wait until the tourney and put the ban on next year.
