Remember WKU coach Dennis Felton from back in the Chris Marcus days? He bounced around to Georgia and eventually Cleveland State. Today he is an assistant at Fordham.

He was someone I thought we should have strongly considered, a few years back, when we were looking for a coach. Probably a good thing that no one cared what I thought.

I am watching WKU playing George Washington in 2001. Chris Marcus is playing. Like a man among boys. And I understand he never played a game in the NBA. He died this past April.

How sad. I thought not making the NBA because of an injury was a tough break. Certainly not as bad as dying at age 40 or so.
