Saw in an article about the UNC-Clemson game (won by Clemson) that this will be the first time Duke and Carolina have played while both are unranked since 1960. Is that correct? Sixty years?

Per Sports-Reference website, last time both schools were not ranked (when playing each other) was on February 27, 1960. That’s amazing...a streak of 153 consecutive games over 60 years with at least one team ranked.

Strange year for hoops. It seems like the schools that typically recruit 1 and done's are down this year.

That could be because those talented one and dones haven't had the intensive early season practices and warmup games due to COVID, and may need more time to get up to speed. Maybe these schools will once again be dangerous once NCAAT time rolls around.
