JMUSports has announced that due to Covid issues at UNCW the Elon Phoenix series against them has been postponed by the CAA and have rescheduled the Phoenix to play a weekend series vs the Dukes at the AUBC this weekend. The Dukes home series against William and Mary that was originally scheduled for this weekend has also been postponed due to Covid issues and W&M. The Dukes and Elon split the weekend series at Elon a couple weeks ago so this is some time for some payback. Both games are scheduled for 2:00 PM and will be broadcast on FLO as per usual.

It’s been a weird, disjointed season. Hopefully the women can put it all together in the CAAT, but I don’t feel confident. While the talent is there, something is not quite right with this team.

Peyton was still in a walking boot, but the announcers were saying she is not done for the year. Hope she'll get a couple games in to knock off the rust before the CAAT

Clemson transfer Claire Neff dressed out today...keep an eye out for her. 4 star freshman commit.

Interesting news about Neff. Wonder if she will start to see some playing time.

My wife also noted at the end of the game when the whole team was on the court that she saw Nikki O. in sweats, not dressed. Wonder what is up with that?

Kinda the way I feel. No one who watched is going to come away thinking JMU was much the superior "team". We may have better players, but as Longhorn and others have alluded to- something is off. I genuinely feel we will only get better, so I'm calming myself with that. Getting the sweep tomorrow would be a good start.
