They should make it permanent. This thing is right on campus. Aloha Stadium is 10 miles away and students don't attend. They should upgrade this on campus stadium to 25k to 30k and call it a day.

How many do Hawai’i normally average to a game??? Has the NCAA already signed off on them playing in a stadium below minimums???

Per NCAA stats, they averaged 23,454 in 2019. And I wouldn’t be surprised if NCAA grants them some type of temporary waiver.

We complain about TxSt or even NMSU being on an “island”, Hawai’i is literally on an island 2,500 miles from the next closest college football team. The fact they have been bowl eligible 11 of the last 20 years is impressive.

I love Hawaii and the short time I spent on the north shore...wishing those islanders the best.

You are correct on the 10k I just went back and looked. I am sure the NCAA must be working with them.
