I wonder in the history of D1 if a player has won the national freshman of the week, but failed to get conference freshman of the week?

Actually, I recall Nate winning national mid-major player of the week and not getting CAA player of the week.

First winner this season not from a top major university.

I was trying to prove or disprove this theory and I, for the life of me, cannot find a list of the freshmen players of the week.

In the course of looking I did find that Matt Lewis from JMU won National Player of the week in January.

He did win conference player of the week, they might just not let the awards go to the same person

Puzzling that it's Tuesday, we have a player named National Freshman Player of the Week, and our athletics website still has not posted game highlights of the game which includes his 30 point outburst. Kinda important to the program grabbing all the media publicity they can get when it's out there.

I hope someone will, also, quickly catch and fix the misspelling in the athletics' news post about the award. "Kockera"....really?

Since the telecast was a CAA/Drexel/Flo production we are at the mercy of those to receive video clips in a timely fashion.

I thought we played Towson, why is Drexel part of the production?

I sure hope Connor maintains a great relationship with Dane, teammates, staff, etc. He's a special player.
