Coaches' Show
Caught a few minutes of coach K today. Not a direct quote, but he said he was still recruiting guard(s) and a post player. My take was that it was for the 2021 class, FWIW.

RE: Coaches' Show
Some other comments from the Coaches Show tonight from TK and Jordan Lauf:

*J. Hill’s recovery from his broken leg is taking longer than anticipated so they are not sure when he will be available, and how effective he will be once he is back ready to play. TK said he is very pleased with how K Saunders is playing off the bench so Hill’s minutes might still be limited when he is ready to play.

*TK said that S. Littleson is the best he has ever had in delving into film study of the next opponent. Jordan Lauf said he is like a sponge and is amazed when Littleson sometimes calls out the opponents plays before they even begin running them.

*J. Lauf said that some of their best offense comes after either M Jackson or R Rollins gets a defensive rebound and heads up court as “both of them are pretty much unstoppable in the open floor”.

*TK said there is still improvement for this team on the defensive end and being more consistent with rebounding. Lauf said if the bench can contribute like they did against BG on a consistent basis, the team can take their play to a different level. He thinks Acunzo will continue to improve as he gets more comfortable.

*J. Lauf said the keys to tomorrow’s game game against Akron is limiting shots by their All Mac Point Guard (Jackson) with help defense in the gaps, and rebounding the basketball so they can get out in transition.

RE: Coaches' Show
Not so much Jackson's shooting IMO. Jackson drives to the basket then options a pass to the perimeter and that's how they got us. Drew us in, passed it out. Just like sucking in the LBs to pass over them in football. Some will always fall for it instead of keeping their lane and trusting the teammate to get it done.
