Yep, like the saying goes "It's tough to beat a team 5 times in one season".

The East could come down to the last weekend, the whole side is separated by 2 games. App St in the lead with at 6-4, Troy at the bottom at 4-6.

The west is also tight minus ULM, TxSt currently leads at 7-3, with stAte in 5th place at 5-5 and 2 games back. ULM is last at 2-10, 6 games back.

Should be a fun last 3 weekends of the season.

As the final horn sounded, the arena lights were turned out except for the red ones and our media department played "When the lights go down in the city" to serenade the Cajuns as the left the court...lol

You can't say this isn't a rivalry

first of all, I LOVE IT. rivals should be just a lil petty, especially when you win. Congrats stAte.

Wait, what's the Cajuns/Wolves "light" thing? I have a feeling I'll like it but I don't get it.

I figured they are standing up for their Arkansas "cousins". With about 5 seconds left, in Lafayette, we (LR) had the ball down 2 points, when the red lights came (normally signaling game over) on in the Cajun Dome confusing everyone on the court. One of our baffled players threw up a long 3-pointer that bounced off the rim. Refs did nothing about it and called the game over at that point.

First, thank you ASU.

Second, clearly our season is going in the wrong direction. The relationship between between the coaches (including our head coach) has been really sour since the first Texas St. series (although there were early signs in non-conference). This problem has spilled on the court (as seen in the latest Texas St. series). While I think a quick turnaround is unlikely, the 30-4 run at the end of the last game gives me enough hope to hold on for one more series (barely). A change of leadership may happen within a year or two if things don't improve (or get worse)...

We’re throwing glorious amounts of shade for their game with Little Rock when the lights went out with 8 seconds left and officials made Little Rock play on

Crazy part of the Louisiana at A-State series last weekend. Red Wolves shot the three both nights at a higher clip than Curry normally does.

I think we (LR fans) were all ready to throw in the towel on the season when we were down 55-32, to TxSt, with a little more than 10 minutes left. Then we go on a miraculous 30-4 run to take the lead. How can that not give us some hope? Still, I'm not sure how much it really means. TxSt clearly relaxed- I mean they had beaten on 3 in a row and were leading by 23 points). We caught fire from 3, and they couldn't stop our momentum. But, after they tied it with a late 3, they took over again and completely dominated the overtime. So I'm not optimistic about the ASU game tomorrow. I guess we'll see what happens.
