Lots of college basketball games in general have been see-saw in recent years. What was a fairly safe lead years ago can disappear now, unless the lead is like 30 points or more, or there just isn't enough time left for the trailing team can have enough possessions left.

Kind of like last night Akron was down 14 at halftime. By the 10 minute mark of the second half it was tied. I went to walk the dog. Came back in they were down double digits again.

Rule changes always favor the team that is behind. Over the years those effects pile up. Wait until they change to a 15 second shot clock and 5 point field goals. It will eventually happen. Heck after a time out they will probably give you the ball 3 feet from the front of the basket. Nothing like a dunk to improve ratings.

True, Burden. Unless a person was around, like I was, back when there was no 3-point shot and no shot clock at all they can't really understand how much the game has changed. It's great when it's your team that stages a huge comeback, but not so great when it's the other team.
