Sam Houston's schedule is out. Another very attractive schedule for the Kats

Quote:The Kats will have to hit the ground running with four perennial baseball powers making up the first nine games of the year, starting with a 4-game, season-opening series with defending Big 10 champion Nebraska that begins on February 18.

Sam Houston will then spend a week in the DFW Metroplex with a neutral-site game vs Oklahoma State at Globe Life field, the home of the Texas Rangers, on February 22 before taking on Dallas Baptist in a 3-game set at Horner Ballpark.

The Kats then get a big game at Don Sanders Stadium on March 1 when they welcome the Texas Longhorns and former head coach David Pierce to Huntsville. It will be just the second time Texas has ever come to Huntsville, the first time coming in 2017.

First 12 games at home. That is an advantage of having a southern based team in a sport like baseball that starts so early.

Only schedule we are missing is Seattle...

It's about five, six weeks until the season starts... where you guys at, Redhawks? In 2021, they announced their schedule on Jan 26 (!?!?!) and the year before was Dec. 20.

Seattle still does not have a baseball schedule posted - we are three weeks from the season beginning. Any insight here?
