What's wrong with a home-and-home with Lamar for the folks from San Marcos? Texas-Arlington is doing home-and-homes with WAC schools (not Southland schools).

Nothing. I was more so speaking to the MTE we're in, but it's nothing new for us. I was just hoping that after getting little to no love for being SBC regular season champs last year our new coach would go for a tougher schedule to try and garner more respect. Oh well, I guess we'll have a good record at least. We do home and homes with Southland schools. Nothing wrong with that either.

EWU was pretty good last year though so thats good! Didnt know they went to the NCAA last year. On a quick glance they had a lot of turnover though.

Everyone has a lot of turnover with the transfer portal shenanigans! I think none of us know what to expect largely especially with the COVID variant/variables hanging over our respective heads.
It is interesting to see how many low to mid majors are hosting MTEs this year.

Not like them lol. I was reading their board and apparently their coach got hired at Portland and took like 4 starters or contributors from EWU. A list that one of their fans put together had them with 6 players in the portal on April 1st so Id bet some others joined as well. They also noted that even though every team loses players to the portal most dont lost all of their best players. I mean we only lost one real contributor and he was kind of underwhelming when last year compared to his first two years. Might have been due to the coaching change but I think hes going to do great at JMU.

I also have noticed an increase of these this season. A few possible motivations be hind this.
1. Less travel,3 games in one location instead of multiple ones.
2. Chance for better games - This provides a chance in some of these for a good mid-level team to get a higher quality game, with a few lower-profile games.
