Basketball has two this week.
When does baseball start? will it be a regional schedule?
Convo being used for vaccines.
Football will practice in spring?

It was almost a haiku, support your local ypsi businesses.

Story on Andrew Wylie's teammate, who gave up the 2020 season to practice medicine as a M.D. fighting Covid.

I have no idea how the NCAA plans on having its tournament. Are we just going to ignore the teams who do not play games??
What about Michigan? the pauses will impact the tournament one way or another.

It will be interesting to me to see if conferences actually have their own tournaments or if they just vote to send the best team to avoid exposure and potential outbreaks. Maybe I need to complete my thoughts before posting.

File this under: You'll never know when you'll hit the lottery...

MSU had a baskeball player Mat Ishbia about 20 years ago. I believe he was a walk-on and his GPA was say 3+ times his PPG.

Turned out he was a great success in the business world and had a spare 32M to donate for sports facility.

There are articles in Detnews and Freep. Might be behind paywalls.

Rumor has it, he would like to own the Pistons and may do so in the near future.

BTW, can someone refresh my memory: Who is Eagle Attack from our board, many years ago? Was he a parent of a DL?

BTW, I believe Christian Spears wanted to do something like that where the SAPC is.

The SAPC would have been in the N.W. corner of Rynearson. I understand there were problems with that location and the SAPC had to be re-designed and built where it is.

The plan was that the current IPF would have been rented out and a practice facility like Lincoln's would have filled the end zone.

The location for Lincoln's facility had to change twice before they built it. Utilities and wetlands play a big role is those decisions.

I understand there were issues with the soil or whatever at the N.W. corner of Rynearson.

Would have cost significant $ to remediate.

Would love to see them replace the bubble with something more structurally sound like this.
