RE: MTSU Game two
Kennedy said shoulder dislocation for TSG, Knee contusion for Benjamin in tv postgame. Will listen to what he says on radio.

Said TSG actually wanted to go back in the game. Told em no, let’s get it checked out.

Knee contusion for Benjamin. Wrapped his knee in ice. Hoping it’s no more than a bruise.

the easier our opponent should be, the worse we look. The better our opponent “appears to be”, the more focused and Energized we show up. Of course we’ve yet to play a decent team, so....

18-21 from the foul line (85.7%) and 17/11 assists/turnovers. Not bad!

ETSU looks like our best win so far. They're leading the SoCon right now. Chattanooga has fallen hard since beating us, 3-5 in that same league.

MTSU is the worst team in CUSA and we were behind at half in both our games. We're winning right now but that's mainly due to our competition. We aren't really playing very well.

It’s been so long since we’ve even dreamed of the NCAA Tourney, I honestly don’t know, but does the committee just use NET, or do they use multiple rankings?

That's an irrelevant question for CUSA, unfortunately. We're an autobid-only conference.

This is so true. UAB could win out and lose in the tourney's CG and still get left out of the Dance with only 3 losses. That' s just how weak our schedule is this year.

I’ve seen a couple brackets that have CUSA with 2 teams this year

Maybe there is another team in CUSA with a strong enough resume to get an at-large bid but that team is definitely not UAB.

The ones with two have UAB with the auto-bid and WKU as an at large.

The NET ranking is the primary tool used now. One thing about it is the committee looks for quad 1, and to a lesser extent, quad 2 wins. We unfortunately lack severely in that department. The Georgia tech cancellation basically sealed our fate. I don’t believe an undefeated regular season would have gotten us an at large this year.

True. I was responding to the comment that CUSA is autobid only. While this is probably true, there is a (slim) chance for a conference at large this year (just not by us)

Crickets on al.com. Further proof - as if wee needed further proof - that outlet does not have a UAB beat reporter.
