Heh, you and about 20,000 of your best friends will be fighting for those spots soon. They are going to need to call up some yellow vests for d-hall

Hyper, should we see if we can book the Hall of Presidents for a private event? The beverages will be cold, and we can socially distance on the patio and go inside from time to time to warm up 04-cheers

I actually already have the rooftop of Eagle rented out for my NYC-style viewing party. Invite only.

Good grief. Now the band has an end zone but fans can’t even attend? I want an end zone, can I bring my band?

Maybe I go to garden villa on top of Eagle and enjoy the view again before it gets reckked. So many choices

Pretty sure the band won’t be there since they number 400+ on their own.

I'd much prefer ESPN+, but Flo has worked for my TV two straight times. I figured the app transfer to the TV about 5 games ago, but for some reason it would lose my TV after a period of time, and I would have to watch the rest of the game on my phone. Over priced, and limited content, but if its my only option, it's a must buy this year. That would not have been the case the prior 8 or so years.

Two times in a row? Such high standards we have after past years dealing with Stretch outages 03-lmfao

Roku with the Flo app installed there works reasonably well and seems to be stable. There’s also a Samsung TV app that you can use with iPhone/iPad to cast the video directly but that seems a bit more fluky.

TLDR - Roku is well worth buying for streaming.

That what I now use. Having to login through my TV and hope it works was taking years off my life. Using the app to transfer it to the TV is what has worked for me the last two times.

Of course many of the MASN games are now at 4:00 PM during the week, so I'm at work.

One benefit to less fans at games will be the ability to move games around more easily.

My over/under on cancelled/rescheduled games for this 8 game regular season is 1.5 games, and I'd likely take the over on that.

Was the capacity limit imposed by the governor or by the CAA?

It's hard to believe the season starts two weeks from Saturday. I'd guess current capacities will change one way or the other over the next month or two.

I’m actually thinking they won’t change from the current status until either the infection rate drops dramatically or they have a large percentage of the population vaccinated.

Optimistically, I think that means April, maybe in time for the playoffs. Not so optimistically we may be waiting until fall for some sense of normal.

Hard to figure, cases are certainly trending down, but that is offset by the new strains coming into the equation. It seems like more jurisdictions are opening up restaurants.

Who the hell knows? Hopefully by fall, pigs will not still be flying........

My guess is sometime this season thousands will be allowed to attend a game in Harrisonburg.

Supposing they allow 2,000 fans - do you have 500 of that allowed attendance to be the band?

Fun times for speculation.

RE: No Duke Club members allowed to attend spring football
That’s an interesting question. At the HS level, my mentality is that I’m fine that my band can’t play at games so long as one ticket isn’t sold. Player families deserve to be there more than us.

At the college level, big booster $$ changes that conversation.
