03-lmfao He is def going to take it, especially if they give him a sizable pay raise. I wonder if Row The Boat will come with him? That mantra kinda fit in Michigan and Minnesota because of all the lakes... Tennessee is pretty land locked. Any new mantra ideas?

RE: Fleck on the move (again)?
It’s a huge risk. He’s a Yankee.

For him to compete he needs to recruit the southeast not the Midwest. We’ve seen the best of the Midwest get trampled repeatedly.

If he’s wise uses this as leverage continues to build the gophers. But then maybe his expiration date is nearing? I don’t follow close enough to know the vibe on the reservation.

His next step up if it’s even available would be a Notre Dame, Arizona, UCLA or USC.

The historical shadows are much shorter and the leashes much longer. They too are a far better fit than Knoxville, Gainesville, Columbia, Nashville or Auburn.

He'd be gone Price style at bama, probably the same trick by the boosters too. Under two Scaramucci's would be my bet.

RE: Fleck on the move (again)?
Why on earth hasn't anyone hired Fickell yet?

If I'm Tennessee (or any P5), I hire Fickell. Of the 3 mentioned in the article, I hire Fleck.

Could Minny outbid Tennessee? I could see that happening.

I don't see Fleck leaving the mid-west. However... if Mrs. Big Tit's Mcgee has anything to say about it... she probably would like the warmer weather ...

Tennessee is a landmine waiting to explode. I don't see an up-and-comer going there, you're likely to see and old retread coming out of retirement to coach them for a few years while they figure out their violation nonsense.

Tennessee cannot be any more mismanaged than WMU. Just saying.

Also, Neyland Stadium is literally on the Tennessee River. RTB could work.

Tennessee’s dumpster fire has a new chief, not named Fleck

Can't judge Fleck and his Minnesota tenure by last season.

He-they obviously had a lot of COVID issues.

Losing his offensive security blanket Ciarrocca probably hurt too.

Now if in the next two-three years when he has his recruits in place and if they don't beat Iowa and Wisconsin, then there will be a different discussion.

Fleck has 1 winning record in the BIG 10 conference in 4 years.. Jury is out on PJ. I think he moves on next year.
