Will the NIL ruling keep players in school?
Is there any reason to think that the ability to take advantage of their fame before going pro will keep them in college?

Women’s Basketball… Probably make more money with NIL from UConn and Tennessee than the WNBA rookie deal.

NFL money is always going to be better if you’re getting draft grades.
NBA probably going to the NBA as soon as possible

Poorly worded question as you don't really know the draft eligibility rules for the sports you may think you know about. Basically, only the NBA has a "One and Done" rule. More importantly, only a small percentage of student-athletes get drafted, so why not take advantage of earning money? Do better research.

NFL/WNBA/MLS have very similar draft eligibility rules. players must have been out of high school for at least three years and must have used up their college eligibility before the start of the next college season/deadline. MLS has an Operation adidas option for NCAA soccer players to leave college before their junior year.

MLB needs a college player to be a junior or senior or be at least 21 if they didn't sign out of high school.

NHL has draft rights for collegiate players drafted basically through their graduation year, but it depends on what age they were drafted.

The question in the OP wasn't nearly as badly worded as your snarky answer and it didn't contain any misstatements of fact.

I don't think so, because who leaves college early?

Players with NBA, NFL and MLB prospects. And they will always make more money and have the chance for more visibility in those pro leagues than in college. So they will leave like they always do.

Now, it may not necessarily work for them. A guy may leave after his sophomore year while making good NIL and then he doesn't make the NBA and so may wish he had milked his Duke-fame for two more years. But these guys will always go for the pro brass ring.

I think a few fringe guys will stay in school a year longer. We see guys leave early and go undrafted every year and given that it's a small window to earn that makes some sense. But if you can come back, earn 25kor whatever, plus have all your expenses covered and get a degree that seems better to me than going to the G League or maybe making a practice squad.
