After spring practice I would expect to see a lot of roster shake-ups. It should also be when a number of seniors indicate if they are for sure coming back for another year. Right now, except for a few that have transferred or stated they are not coming back, it seems as if everyone else has been assumed to be coming back (with some saying positively they will be back). So my comments before on Jonathon Jones, Womack, and David Hood coming back are likely premature. I was only looking at the roster for LB and DL and didn't notice all the other seniors still listed on the roster.
There may be a lot of guys that will be ok with another summer and fall with the team before moving on to the next chapter in their lives. Just don't know how this is being handled.
I doubt there is that much speculation in who is staying. The Blade reported Womack was staying quite a while back, and I think Strack might have too. After Hollman's success I think he sees a possible shot at the NFL and a full season with a nationally televised game against ND can potentially help that.
I know Mitchell, Harris and Harrison all publicly announced they were coming back. There was a story on Rosi on the website that said he graduated but had enrolled in grad school, but didn't confirm if he was going to keep playing FB or not.
Others may have announced too, but would have to scour for their social media to see. Most all the seniors were getting good playing time and so probably expect that will continue if they come back. Of the ones that haven't had PT, Bates and Fenn aren't listed on the roster; Redmon is though. Of course, some of them could change their minds.
A little surprised Flint is staying. Thought he might be off to Hollywood or something, but with the other Aussie punter coming in, that could give him extra incentive to hang around another year with someone else who speaks Australian. :)

Nope.
I was wondering what was up with Ethan. At this late in the game it would be unlikely he would get another offer. But what do I know.

Moto...I'd be guessing on his actual speed, but he ran the ball effectively at Plant. He's an athletic, tough kid and isn't afraid of contact. He'd rather run over you, then around you. I would expect him to compete for PT immediately (Assuming he doesn't have to sit out). Best way I can describe him is that he's just a football player. I really believe you could line him up at QB, RB, TE, LB or S and he'd have success.

RE: NLI Signing Day
I watched both the Candle press conference and the ESPN3 NLI show. I was tremendously impressed by Kuligowski. He was offering consistently high praise for this class and the fact it could very well be the best class to ever sign at UT. I listened to his (Kuligowski) podcast from about last summer and the guy absolutely bleeds Midnight Blue & Gold. What I love is that he talks about each individual player under his tutelage and he offers insights into each guy plus the NLI signers. He is so stoked on T. Taylor. He thinks both Taylor and Hines are NFL bound. He feels Deandre Ragin is poised to be a big time player at UT. Coach Candle mentioned twice during his presser about the presence of TRUE depth across all positions at UT for the first time that he can remember. He said depth prevents you from the 2-10 and 3-9 seasons and resulting rebuilding situations.
I genuinely look for more improvement on the defense this year. UT made a lot of progress. Only some poor decisions kept us from 6-0 and a bowl. I'll take 4-2 without spring practice. Coach Candle stated C. Carolina was one of the few teams in D1 FBS to have had a full spring practice schedule and look at their results.
The future is bright with UT football. I am more stoked than ever about the direction of this program. I can tell that the coaches know the cupboard is full of high quality talent at all positions. Perhaps the OL is the only exception but I think we'll be fine or even very good in 2021 if we don't get hit by injury bug.

Let's not forget the critisisms and rightfully so, what I have read on this site about Candle coaching abilities. You can have the greatest recruiting class from year to year, but I look at the W/L results and how many divisional titles/MACC titles a school has. For instant look how well UB recruits and where that program was when it first entered the MAC in both football/basketball and where it is now.

Here's your confirmation about Constant being at UT:
Looks like all the transfers are already on campus, plus some early enrollees in the freshman class.

Enjoyed the show. Some fun coming in.
If Cass Tech, sitting in the shadow of Ford Field ever puts a dollar into that dirt football field, I think I will be saddened.

That's what I was hoping to hear. Seemed like he would be pretty athletic at that size, and I'm ok if he is running a 4.8 to a 5.0. All we need is someone that can escape the pocket when nobody is open and run it for 5-10 yards - or shake off some attempted sacks.
The guy that started for GT in 2020 was also a freshman and he led the team in passing and rushing yardage. The other 2 QB's with stats listed were another freshman and a sophomore. I can see why he was ok with transferring and using the connection he had with Weiner.
Wonder how the Covid year will impact NCAA decision making on transfers and eligibility. Anyone have insight on how this might unfold with the transfer and eligibility next season? Seems like it is inconsistent. Fields got immediate eligibility after transferring to OSU from Georgia, so I'm wondering why this would not be the same (because Toledo isn't OSU is the likely answer).

See any reason why he would not be eligible right away? Looks like he had no playing time in 2020 (at least did not show up in the stats). Would GT have any say as far as releasing him - or is it entirely up to the NCAA? The guy that started for GT was also a freshman who lead the team in passing and rushing yardage, and the other 2 QB's with playing time was another freshman and a sophomore. I can see why he was ok with transferring and using the connection he had with Weiner. I don't know how the transfer rules work - because they don't seem to be consistent.
Saw a picture of him. Just going on the eye test, he looks like he could fit right in at LB or DE.
I found a HS combine time of 4.96 for the 40 and 4.45 for 20 yd shuttle.
