Didn't hear about that. Best of luck to all in that area as well!

RE: Weather/Toilet Paper Thread
I wish this week's game versus RU was at noon, or 1:00.

4:00PM is going to mean cold, with no sun, and in the mid 30's. I'm guessing we won't have the option of the sunny side. My women Dukesters will definitely require blankets.

Spring (winter for BDK) afternoon game would of been nice.

No, Saturday is the 1st day of Spring. Harrisonburg current forecast high Sat 50 (Weather.com); 48 (Accuweather), sunny, not much wind. Its not going to be in the mid 30s at 4 PM, or even at 7 PM lol. Sunset not till 7:27 PM, well after the game is over. More like upper 40s/50 kickoff, low 40s end of game. You‘re not going to need a blanke..

Weather channel says lows Saturday night of 28. Perhaps it will still be in the 40's until after the game. Thanks for letting me know know that my wife and daughter will not need a blanket. Apparently you are not only all knowing of football, and weather, but also what degrees in the shade my family will want a blanket. They've used one in the 40's before, but perhaps you know better.

04-cheers

Yes, Weather.com says low 28 Sat, which is so misleading, because the daily low they give isn't for that day, but the next. So the 28 degrees isn't the forecast for Sat night, but rather Sunday morning, possibly even after dawn.

RE: Weather Thread
On a serious note how did campus and the valley do last night and today regarding the anticipated rain from the remnants of Ida? Here in Northern VA we got a few short periods of some heavy rainfall but so far (late afternoon) it really has been a non event. Maybe an inch or so total when they were calling for 3" or more at one point. Some tornado activity east of DC so that is concerning.

Looking forward to a nice day on Saturday for the 2021 opener!!

My weatherstation recorded 3.63 inches, I live near Bridgewater/Mt. Crawford. My lake went up over a foot from the runoff but seems to have leveled off.
