UCF has always been good at keeping a lid on our searches. Only lists put out are speculation from analysts based on the "candidates" current positions. I'd think there's a possibility for Elliot but I'd prefer Lebby, he runs a great offense and would hit the ground running with the team we currently have built.

I would prefer Elliot or Napier over Lebby. Need someone who will get ppl with $ excited.

I think those are probably the top 3 candidates if they all apply. To me, it would be Napier, Elliott, and Lebby in that order.

Hope we stay away from Jamey Chadwell - sounds like DW was unimpressed with him for the Tennessee job, and I think he's fool's gold at CCU. I loathe the idea of Gus Malzahn, but I'd take him over Chadwell I think.

LOL. He would be a disaster. He has NCAA recruiting violations, and this was a one hit wonder season for CCU. They weren't good at all under him the year before. They play dirty, which seems to reflect his style. And Joe Moglia built the program and recruited most of the players.

What a laughably bad Wikipedia edit! They omitted the "of" and/or couldn't even provide the hyperlink to the actual UCF page, and also forgot the conference affiliation. So if this were a "leak," one could legitimately ask if they were also leaking that UCF is moving to the Sun Belt (which is listed on the same page one line below).

To your point, White seems to have been blindsided by the leaks that came out of Tennessee. He clearly ran a tight ship at UCF, which in my opinion is the smart way to do these things.

Elliot has turned down some big jobs so I don’t think so. I think he, like Fickell, will wait to they can get the one job they want.

Mark it down Heupel will be UT's Matt Luke. Gone in 3 years after "underachieving" while forced to work under NCAA sanctions. He will be richer and probably be someone's OC.
