noticed 3 MAC games tonite (squeezed in between regularly scheduled tues & sat games.) would imagine our flashes will be getting few of these thurs games added to the schedule. from tonite: watch out for miami! consecutive wins vs teams with winning conference records.

This is a big game for us. Keep the momentum going against a team that is playing very well. They have personnel to win it all. We do too. Would love to see DP have one of his good ones.

Going to come down to backcourt defense by KSU on their 2 dynamic guards. Hopefully KSU can get enough stops to get out of Savage Arena with a W today.

the mystery of the 2 away games vs akron is solved: now a home game Feb 5 (Fri) 7:00 PM. ESPNU gonna be fun!

with 2 losses vs toledo, we're now looking at 2 or 3 seed for mac tourney - face toledo in mac championship game!

I love and respect this team. They scratch and claw to the end. It was not one of our better shooting games, but that did not come from a lack of desire. We do not quit and I credit Sendy with much of this. I would just love to be watching this team live.

I agree, GFlash68. It's true that you are what your record says you are, but this team is SO close. If they keep working on things there is no reason why they wouldn't have as good a chance as anyone to win the MAC tournament. The difference between them and Toledo is ALMOST non-existent.

Both are gritty ass teams and I think both would suck for a matchup of a Power team who finished 4th in their league or something. Toledo's RPI, and NET are decent and throw them on about the 13 line for the NCAA tourney. How many 4's want that matchup?

I'd be very interested to see where we'd be sitting right now if we didn't have that lengthy covid layoff at the beginning of conference play. Then we immediately played two of the top teams in the conference and lost close games. Really crappy circumstances. I'm sure Akron is thinking the same thing with their start of the season layoff.
