Men's CAA Basketball 2020-2021
Has it ever been more wide open late in January?

Has the league ever looked so weak this late into January?

I'd certainly give an edge to Northeastern & Hofstra, and I'd probably make W&M the longest shot, but if you started the CAA tourney tomorrow, I really think anyone "could" win. The difference between #1 an #10 has probably never been closer than this year.

Which leaves a lot of opportunity for a young and improving JMU.

If I had to predict the top top 3 in the CAA over the next 3 years it would likely be NU and JMU based on it's youth, talent, and coaching - along with Hofstra just because.....

RE: Men's CAA Basketball 2020-2021
We certainly have less data to go on than usual by the end of January. I have not paid attention to a lot of other teams, but looking at JMU specifically, I am seeing intensity on defense, ball and player movement on offense, and actual bon-a-fide coaching. That's always a base recipe for success.
