OT: It's Back (?)
Looks like EA is teasing the return of a College Football game. Not a lot of details on when it's coming out, who is in it, etc. Don't know if this is anticipation of NIL laws changing or what. Also, hope the Madden team isn't working on this one since those games have been absolute garbage for the last half decade at least.

I read that it was 100 teams, which isn't all the FBS teams let alone FCS. I hope that isn't the case and they get at least the Power 3 conferences MVC, CAA, Big Sky in the game or ability to create teams again.

The schools used to get licensed in large groups. Believe it’s school by school now in our post-O’Bannon lawsuit world.

RE: OT: It's Back (?)
From what I've read they made an agreement with CLC, who manages the "brands" of the vast majority of NCAA schools (including JMU). Notre Dame and Ohio State are the biggest names not managed by CLC, plus one more big one that I can't remember right now. But EA Sports should be able to make an agreement with the few schools not covered by CLC. Strangely enough, it looks like EA is going around the NCAA to do all of this. NCAA is separate from CLC and it isn't mentioned at all in any of the official press material I've seen so far.

I'm not sure that we will see FCS schools in this game.

We definitely won’t unless they really go above and beyond. The last one they made (14) only had FCS teams if you imported them from the custom team builder function. Even then, you were missing realistic rosters and stadium. Rosters could be adjusted, but required a lot of time to input.

The team builder was the best feature of that game, and really the only must have is the all the logos and team builder.

I think the last one to have somewhat realistic FCS rosters was 2007... and that had the 2006 rosters
