RE: KSU Wrestling 2020-2021
Looks like Andrassy was given the budget back to hire a 2nd assistant coach, that was taken away due to COVID-19. It will be interesting to see who he hires.

There is a rumor that another recruit will be transferring to KSU from a Big10 school (originally from Ohio), which would give them 5 transfers coming in this season. Hopefully it is a HWT or 141lbs.

Malik McDonald is the new assistant coach per a FB post. He wrestled at NC State. That’s all I know as the link in the FB post goes to a KSU 404 page.

Nobody to practice against he felt hurts his
chances vs big time competition.
He will transfer for extra year.

The primary difference between KSU and the likes of the top 5 programs is depth in the practice room.

Any update on the rumor?

RE: KSU Wrestling 2020-2021
Coach Andrassy has hired Malik McDonald as the 2nd assistant coach. Malik had a nice wrestling career @ NC State and has coached @ Clarion and LIU. He was a 197lb wrestler in college.

Not sure on the rumor status, but I believe the KSU Wrestling recruiting class will be announced by early next week.
