RE: Baseball Schedule Out
Yea!

There is the change to the opening weekend that I was told was a possibility with the addition of Washington.

Glad we finally get to see something under schedule other than the 2020 mess. Here’s hoping the Owls get off to a much better start.

Now, will fans be allowed to attend?

RE: Baseball Schedule Out
Not the greatest of schedules, but not at all bad, especially under the circumstances, with the one big omission being no games at all against UH. Why??? I'm sure this was not our decision...
Texas Tech
Washington
ULaLa x 3
Texas State x 2
Sam Houston x 2
Kansas State x 2

...and we get both LaTech and USM at home.

Nice! I'm pumped up. Hope the recruits are, too.

Anyone get any insight as to why the Owls and Coogs aren’t playing this year? Coogs coach said they are still trying to get one game with the Owls.

I think the AAC is prohibiting midweek games, hence the problem with the series.

Then we could have played a weekend series. Our first two weekends of the season were open for quite some time after cancelations.

Maybe during conference play, but UH plays TAMU on a Tuesday, March 16 in Houston. Seems like a midweek game or more before conference play could have been squeezed in. Makes more sense than traveling out of town or having teams travel from out of town.

RE: Baseball Schedule Out
Looking at the 3 teams (Rice, La Tech, MTSU) that have released their schedules in full and noticed an oddity....La Tech has all their CUSA series listed as 3 game series while Rice and MTSU have them as 4 game series. I counted up OOC games for La Tech and they have 28 OOC games with 24 CUSA games for a total of 52. If La Tech adds in the extra game for the 8 CUSA series that would give them 60 total games. Also Tech is rumored (not on the school website schedule yet) to have added an opening 3 game weekend tournament at LSU to replace their cancelled opening series vs Illinois so that would put them up to 55 total games assuming the CUSA series are 3 game series. Any idea on that??

ALL CUSA series are 4-games-- Friday, Saturday doubleheader (two 7-inning games) and Sunday.
