Dukes lit it up from downtown in the first half and are up by 14.
A huge difference today is NE is missing their PF who hurt is ankle yesterday, but prior to that was the most physical player on the court and put up a double double on the Dukes.
Today JMU is getting a stalemate on the boards, which is a win for this team. Lol little Terrel Strickland has 9 rebounds and nobody else has more than 2.

Good performance to knock off the top CAA team thus far. Much better defense today. A little sloppy at times, still more room for this team to gel and improve before the CAA tourney.

Why can we not make free throws? Did Lewis just miss three in the last minute?

Felt like an off game for Lewis, but much better ball distribution. The movement and passes are improving, and teammates feeding each other more.

Good win by the Dukes and they finish the weekend still in 2nd place in the CAA.
Really, not much was done differently on defense until the last 4 minutes. That is when coach By started trapping NE PG and got the ball out of his hands. Good move and the type of coaching savvy we needed to see.

JMU shot very well from 3 and that put them in a commanding position all game. Getting a stalemate on the boards was a big difference from yesterday too.

Hahaha. Louis Rowe CAA wins last year = 2. Coach By CAA wins after 3 games = 2.

Time to get a home win vs Towson Wednesday and strengthen the position in CAA standings.

Called Morse having a big game today - big time response from the guys today!! Need a big win on wednesday to sweep Towson and hopefully the CAA can get us a new series this weekend to build some momentum!
