RE: Great podcast
I love the Huskies on Tap group. These kids do great work for students, and I think it's great that they are involved with Media calls now. They've even spent some time with Coach Ham, which I think is super cool.

RE: Great podcast
I love they're doing something with the Huskies and podcasting. I do listen to most things but I would say they're not as critical as they should be. I get they're trying to establish relationships with NIU coaches and players and all their content has positive vibe.

I don't want anybody to be overly negative but I think being realistic is ok. Example one podcast: NIU is 0-5 and has a final game of the year coming up vs EMU. You don't always need to pick the huskies to win (which I think they did for every football game this year).

Yeah, they're overly positive. Even in a situation like this year.

But the thing is, they're just students operating on a small platform with a niche group of fans. They aren't big enough to call Hammock and Huskie athletics just yet. Do that and they won't get invited to any pressers or get a chance to hold 1 on 1s with anyone from the team.

They're young and still figuring things out. Hopefully this is something that continues on, even after these two graduate. I love the extra coverage!
