Hens token press and zone has really slowed down the pace of this game. Not good for the Hawks'. We have got to hit some threes to make them pay or we're going to lose this game.
Hawks' finally find their offense and turn this around for the win. End the game shooting 50% from the field and 33% from three. Cause 17 TO's and only have 5 TO's.
Managed to keep scoring against the zone just enough to keep the lead. The combo of our three point shooting coming alive, and Sims hitting the short jumper in the middle of the zone was deadly.
Nice win, and looks like we're getting back into the rhythm we had at the end of the year.
We were also only outscored 36-32 in the paint. That’s impressive considering the huge size disadvantage. We made great adjustments on them and got big rebounds toward the end of the game.

Our lack of depth is due to issues beyond the control of a coach. Injury to Phillips and whatever is going on with Carr, Bowen and now Tolefree is creating the issue. If it becomes a problem, there really isn't much we can do about it.
My gut is that Delaware will primarily play zone and slow the pace of play tomorrow, so depth shouldn't be as big an issue in a slower paced game. It seemed like our three point shooters finally got their feel. If that's the case, Delaware may be forced out of the zone.
I think we get the sweep and we end up in the middle of the pack at .500.

Coach has full control over who he recruits the fact that he doesn’t have carr one of his recruits and the other guy that quit the team one his recruits that’s on him. He definitely has no control over the injuries I’ll give you that. Offensively he’s made some adjustments which is very positive. As long as we continue to have no depth foul trouble with define each game today we are lucky to stay out of it for the most part
I thought they played very complimentary basketball today. It was very enjoyable to watch that game!! They played better team ball today. Towson games were not enjoyable to watch. I can live with any result when they play like a team on both ends like today. Congratulations fellas on a great team performance.
Tomorrow will be a big test of our conditioning. At least Harvey will be relatively fresh.
Delaware, meanwhile, was able to use 9 guys (they dressed 11 total). Coming back from their respective injuries, Kevin Anderson played 30 minutes while Aleks Novakovich only played 2.
