Josh McDaniels as HC candidate
People are saying this cycle is his last shot at getting a job, and he needs to s*%# or get off the pot. Leaving Indy at the altar left people dubious he'd get another shot.

RE: Josh McDaniels as HC candidate
That punk wouldn't coach my team. Not only did he burn a bridge that you just don't burn but do you trust a dude that had Tom Brady as the QB during his coaching tenure as an OC? Not me. McDaniels is not a leader of men that you need as a head coach. He's interviewed for many jobs over the years and he's still not a head coach. Red flag.
EDIT - I completely forgot about his brief time as the Broncos head coach. 8-8 his first season followed by 3-9 in his second and got shown the door with 4 games remaining. Tells you all you need to know.

RE: Josh McDaniels as HC candidate
If it were someone else, I'd be willing to chalk up McDaniels' time in Denver to youth and inexperience. But that Indy debacle is non starter for his future HC candidacy anywhere outside of NE. I mean, what do you say in the interview to justify leaving a job where a coaching staff had been assembled at your behest?
And I'm with UCGrad: Need to see some success with a QB outside of TB12
