Can’t say I’ve missed our powder puff basketball all that much these past couple weeks.

The premature end to last season created the illusion that we were an NCAA tournament caliber team when we weren't and every less game played this season will be one more excuse for Brannen to fall back on as he tries to justify the crap product that has been on the court for most of the season.

It's amazing how much healthier the good teams are as opposed to the teams that suck.

I miss the games.

In a lot of ways I preferred cronins early teams who were always the underdogs more than I enjoyed his supposed “good” teams who blew 20+ point leads in the second halves of ncaa tourney games.

I loved that book written about cronins first couple teams.

Watching this year’s young team struggle and hopefully start to turn the corner is something I would have liked to see.

They are not going to improve if they aren't playing and practicing.

The layoffs should give Brannen an opportunity to assess the situation, dismiss some non-performers, and pull in some new talent. The ladies at our local school (Colorado Mesa University) act like they want to win, and they drain threes with monotonous regularity. If a young lady can be a place-kicker on a college team, why not a guard on a basketball team?

Wichita st. now cancelled and i guess Usf Saturday as well. Plenty of time off.

At this point you just move on to the next season. This staff has to figure out who is still ready to ride with them and then plug holes. Hopefully the get to the point where they can play again this season.

Yep, that's the bottom line for me. I'm missing seeing our Bearcats this time of year but when I look at scheduled games on ESPN.com and see how many are being wiped out as "postponed" or "cancelled" each day, it points to a very disjointed season for many schools.

Will there be enough healthy teams for March Madness? What happens when teams begin in the tourney and get shut down after a game or two or three? If it is played, will we have unlikely matchups of the healthiest rather than the best? Imagine one shining moment being a championship game between the Blue Hose of Presbyterian College and Boise State. Put a lengthy footnote on that championship in the record books.

I grew up in Denver... The "South Park" guys totally nail what Casa Bonita is all about...

We last played "basketball" on January 10th. On the bright side, we're not in the conference crapper anymore - UCF is now 1-5.

Our old session has timed out.

Next game we play we're 0-0.
