Down year for the NCHC?
Can this conference win 5 in a row? It’s still early but in the latest pairwise ranking only NoRth Dakota is in at #9. All the other usual conference suspects fall outside the top 15. This is strange to see, especially with north Dakota and Duluth typically in the top 5, and the conference getting 4 teams in. Especially strange this year with only conference games. While I expect Duluth to make a late run as always, this conference seems to be pretty even this year. After watching all the teams the only one that is scary is North Dakota. Hopefully we can make a conference run this year with a young team.

lack of non-con killed us. Normally we wreck house in non-con as a conference, which sets us up well in pairwise. Now we're just self cannibalizing and the conference is predictably even.

I honestly think it’s whoever gets hot can win this conference this year, specifically the playoffs.
Broncos just need to keep getting better and allowing Aslanidis to be more and more confident.
Like I said before, I’m happy to eat my crow about Aslanidis because I didn’t give him hardly any credit last month, he’s one of the main reasons why Broncos are playing so well right now.

This does bring up a question though. How will the NCAAs be handled this year? Pairwise is all over the place, will there be a committee or are the computers still king this season?

I'm interested in how the Hockey postseason will be determined.
I assume the games will all be played in a pod like basketball, but there are several teams "in the tourney" right now that have only played a couple games, certainly that doesn't make sense to include them if they play 1/4 of the games everyone else does.....unless it's Ohio State obviously

This team is a lot better than their record shows, I'm quite sure. Be a shame if they didn't get a chance to compete post season.
They're playing "the system" more than they have in the last four years, just a great combination of role players and skill in my opinion.

Guys the conference is weaker this year . Omaha is the only team where i can safely say they are better than last year. Denver and Duluth lost major pieces last year and UND lost as well but not as much and they have a better freshman class this year .
As far as a play off format who knows what the heck is going on , i'm just glad to be watching hockey again .
