This is my tenth season as announcer at Diamondback Arena. We just got awarded the Regional Tournament, so that means 16 games in 4 days after the finish of the regular season - but we do eat well, because Magazine typically does a bang-up job on the hospitality room.

Both of their teams are competitive, although not great. The girls play well, but really do not have any size except for one very big girl who unfortunately stays injured a lot. The boys have one of the biggest teams we have ever had. We go 6-6, 6-5 up front, which is big for 2A, and they are both legit players. The center just got a football scholarship as a lineman at UAM and has a nice shooting touch, and makes his FTs. Since he probably weighs about 260-270, no one is going to move him out. The power forward is lean and athletic and has good hops. I already got to do the "Send it in, Jerome!" call with him once this season on a breakaway dunk. So we are in good shape up front, but sadly we are really hurting for any reliable outside shooters this year.
