Even if that happened, there would be another site that everyone would migrate to that would be virtually untouchable, ie not dependent on Google, Apple, or Amazon for hosting their app or their servers.

Basically what Gab has done. Its not easy to bootstrap an operation like that with no investor money, but Gab seems to be pulling it off. They will all learn from each other, adjustments will be made, and some mistakes, but its going to be pretty hard to stop once they free themselves from Big Tech and are truly independent. Last I saw, Gab is creating a whole platform, video sharing, social media, news, messaging etc. They see the writing...

Alex Jones sure didn't dry up and blow away, and he's banned from everything possible- servers, bank accounts, credit card processor s, domain name registers, every single possible thing they can find to try has been blocked. I'm sure some are learning from him as well.

Its easy to migrate a webpage to another server. Its another thing altogether to migrate a functioning front-backend system. They likely had everything on AWS, including the backend, so it would probably take a couple of weeks at a minimum to get everything migrated over. It could take longer than that if some things wont migrate and have to be rewritten.
