I know that I am sometimes guilty of jumping to quick conclusions, which is always easier to do with a limited sample size.

Perhaps the CAA will cancel the game today for us like they did for Delaware last week.

How many bad games do I need to watch before I am allowed to make an assessment? Anyway, although that is the first game that I have watched, I listened to the others on the radio. There are definite trends occurring -- especially the quick double-digit deficits every game. Still time for us to snap out of it.....?

Zorch, if you want, you can go watch the ODU, High Point, and UVA games to get enough bad play under your belt for an opinion. It won't change.

How about we just support our team through the good & bad. It'll be okay. I promise.

Coach Fischer talked about the run Drexel made in the 2nd Half, to pull away. During the run, we had 11 possessions and made 10 TOTAL passes during those possessions.
That (ball movement) definitely is an element of the offense that will need to change today.

We've come in with more defensive intensity, but the same trend continues from yesterday. Drexel gets in rhythm shots where every one of our shots seems rushed or contested.

Ayesa has lost his man three straight possessions, allowing Okros to hit three, wide open shots from behind the arc. Cannot afford that defensive liability.

Better ball movement, overall, but we are not getting the ball to shooters when they can actually shoot it.

It feels like ball movement for the sake of ball movement. Lots of dribble handoffs. None of it is being used to free up an open man or to stress the defense. When we have actually been scoring, the shots are waaaaay more difficult than they need to be.

As always, have to collectively play much, much harder to win on the road, even in a quiet environment. Wynter only played 12 minutes after picking up 2 fouls, but still had 6 assists, three more than our team total. Doesn't bode well for the second half. Drexel just the better team, unless we really pick up the intensity to compensate.

Do not understand the strategy to double team Butler. Trading twos for threes. After three halves, Wight and Harvey have a total of two fouls. Leave them to defend and be much more physical and aggressive to defend the post. Force Drexel to beat us at the FT line. Got to do something different, or it will be more of the same.

We had two players standing next to each other in the corner. Easy to defend. Mental breakdown on spacing.

That is my biggest concern a year and a half in. Is our offensive design simply dependent on having better athletes and scorers than the other team?

That might work elsewhere but I don’t think it works at W&M.

That corner 3 by Yuri was the 1st open catch and shoot that I can recall this game

Okros is absolutely killing us. I don't know what you can do when a team that already has the best guard and best big in the conference has a 3rd player have a game like this.

Drexel plays very good man-on defense. Almost no easy shots for us. Both yesterday and today.

Can anyone identify what Drexel is doing better than other teams to limit our rebounding so significantly? Harvey, Wight, and others have had some solid rebounding games. But against this team, it seems like we can’t rebound anything.

We need to be patient with this team. Not happy when they play poorly, but patient.

Look at someone like Yuri. He is gonna be a great player for us. He’s got the best first step we’ve seen in a tribe uni in a long time. He can hit the 3.

Kochera will be very good too.

Stone has developed a lot and should be a solid rotation player for us in the long run.

We have to be leading the league in having our shots blocked. I understand the idea of taking it strong to the basket and good things will happen but other than Luke, no one is drawing a foul and we are usually getting stuffed.
