Too our eldest born at Bronson on this date, delivered by Dr. Schaefer.

Snowy 5 am drive in from Lawrence on I 94. Lived in a rental on Red Arrow west of Lawrence and east of CR 681.

We had moved there from 720 South St in Kalamazoo in October. A gym teacher at Watervliet knew folk who allowed us live there if I mowed the field in the summer with the Farm All Tractor and bush hog pulled behind.

Wonderful memories. Very different back in '81. Metal hospital beds in hospital rooms. Institutional green walls, tile floor and no privacy. No suites or all the other stuff I've seen the last 16 years with our grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
