Shy NFL Europa
I'm not the biggest fan of an NFL team in London or othe European cities. It would be a logistics nightmare. Plus, I think there's markets especially in Germany that are underutilized. I wouldn't stop the NFL from playing games in London either. But why stop at just London? Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Rome are all mega cities that can host NFL games.

But the purpose of the thread isn't just bout the NFL playing neutral site games in Europe. It's ultimately time for the NFL to bring back a European based league. Unlike the 90s, there's club level leagues sprouting up all over Europe, as well as youth leagues. There's over a handful of players from Europe on current rosters already, proving the growth of the game.

Can realistically have a 16 team league with teams in Dublin, London, Glascow, Manchester, Birmingham, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Stockholm, Oslo, Berlin, Hamberg, Cologne, Antwerp, Rome and Milan.

To take it a step further, have the Pro Bowl feature the best players from the NFL vs Europe, and make the HOF Game in Canton a game between the SB Winner and Europe league champ. The Pro Bowl is mostly a game where the NFL players just show up and the European guys would be looking to make a name for themselves. Usually the HOF Game is a game where starters see, maybe a series or two of action, so the HOF Game be more competitive than one would think. Plus it would coaches of teams a great chance to do some live scouting.

Pros: Sport is growing and should get a solid TV deal across Europe, plus easier to sell the NFL Network to European consumers if they have a local team in their area. Europeans have a better understanding of football compared to the 90s, even though it's not on the level of Mexico, Canada or Japan. Can open up the drafting age to kids out of HS, and use this as an alternative to going to college. Also, NFL draft can potentially draft NFL Europe talent thus creating dreams for European kids to make it to the NFL.

Cons: If it didn't work 20 years ago, why would it now? Could the NFL games in London be more of a novelty as opposed to the sport actually growing in London and England as a whole? Would Europeans fall in love with essentially a minor league?
