We don’t ever talk religion but I have 3 or 4 neighbors that I’ll discuss politics with if we’re talking outside and it comes to that. The Confederate flag hanging in my garage doesn’t offend them and their Trump and Gadsden flags in their garages don’t offend me. So everyone is happy, no one is offended, everyone gets along. Heck, 1 of my neighbors moved here from upstate NY and he’s pretty far right. At first he was a little worried back in the summer when there were the rumors that the hood rats were gonna bring their riots and protests to the suburbs. Told him not to worry about that. He says “I like you southerners. If someone is snooping around your home or vehicle, you shoot 1st and ask questions later”.

I live in Florida too. All of my neighbors are Trumpers, still have the flags up. I've been going door to door asking them to accept Biden as their president-elect. Yep, I'm a Joehovah Witness. 03-lmfao I'll be here all week folks.

The idea of a mass "boycott" to send a message that stolen elections are not okay, may be on it's way whether we intend to bring it around or not. I'm going to have to tighten up even further than the F$^%ing disaster 2020 was, and that's likely the case even if we get 85% of folks vaxxed.

My fear, and I'm pretty certain it will be borne out, is that this moron* fixing to move into the WH is going to somehow make the zerO economy look like a runaway freight train.

Moronic. The gas stations around me have raised their gas prices $.30 in one day frequently for the last 10 years or more. Then it gradually goes down and they raise it back up another $.30.

Presidents do next to nothing to effect the price of gas...it's based on a global supply and demand market and speculation.

I've noticed the gas prices going up locally as well but don't think it has anything to do with Biden. . Growing refinery utilization, Saudi's announcemet to cut production by 1 million barrels/day, and a decrease in the domestic supply of oil helped raise gas prices. Now, I firmly believe a POTUS can impact oil/gas prices through geopolitically actions.

I like that rule.

You have to be careful, though. You might realize you like someone and then find out later that they're one of THE OTHERS...

Except, in my experience and opinion most on the right don't really have a problem if someone they're hanging out with is a lefty. Many of my best friends over many years were left of center, a few what one could call "flaming liberals". His folks were missionaries and he grew up in communes and places like that in the 60's and 70's in Central America. We chide each other, LOT's of eye-rolling, but not once a cross word or anger. It can be done.

These cancel culture lunatics? Well, they're the ones looking for a fight.

Remember during the Barry administration the full oil tankers anchored off Galveston bay willing to pay the million dollar a day rent on the tanker rather than offload at market prices. Welcome to those days again.

Two things here Dude. I don’t know whether the prices are caused by speculation dealing with the election or not. Only that the prices here are higher than I remember in a long time. Second, I’ll keep a watch on it and see who is truly moronic. I already have my suspicions.

I remember that occuring during the early days of COVID when there was no place to store the oil in the tankers on land so the ships just hung around outside the ports.

I to have good friends that are liberals. Funny thing is they to simply did not like Trump because he was a “meanie” and ran his mouth. Funny the requirements to be president are just that you aren’t a “meanie”. We get along great and even talk politics at times but none of them are the idiots on these boards and social media.

We are a net exporter of energy now. For a few more months anyway.
Another strain on our economy to come. Not only the loss of high paying jobs but of dollars lost to trade imbalances.
