I was riding to lunch yesterday w/ a co-worker who had Howard Stern on the radio. He was saying how thankful he is for Biden* and how Sloe will have to roll up his sleeves and work 7 days a week to get the pandemic under control, get everything opened up again, and fix Trump's mess. These dipshtts in NYC have no idea that the rest of America is open, rolling along (albeit w/ a stupid mask in some places) and going on w/ our lives. I just thought it was funny hearing someone that actually believes the senile retard will accomplish anything.

Went to big gun outlet last weekend. One hour wait to get in. All types of folks in line, since democrats havent forced us to wear patches yet it's hard to say their politics. It was diverse cosmetically.

I've started going old school lately, buying the remaining 12 ga birdshot after dove season and a reloader. Instead of new guns I'm buying brass and powder. Buying more .243 and .32 Winchester special when I can find it. Handgun ammo isn't hard to find, but I'm stocking more than I used to - same with 7.62.

My big push this winter has been food storage and prep. New canning supplies, in-ground cold storage (a problem with my water table and flooding), and alternative power. I've got a windmill for the cattle water supply not far from the house, but I need another for power. We keep a thousand gallons or so of diesel on the farm, but I want wind-powered alternatives to really make that stretch if needed for a 3-4 week power outage.
