Surprising since he would be the man this fall with Jarret Patterson gone. A sign of the times I guess.

This one interests me.

There are normally 3 or 4 big time RBs on just about every P5 roster. Wonder where he will end up?

I can’t imagine he has a hard time finding a place...but he is going to land in competition no matter where he is

If you look at Buffalo's schedule last year they faced the easiest schedule by far in my mind. They got the east and 0-6 huskies from west. In their bowl game Marks and team struggled (35-135) rushing eventhough they won game 17-10.

Their line created huge holes against poor MAC teams but Marshall made them look ordinary. Patterson of course didn't play, getting ready for nfl.

This one is a head scratcher. From what I saw of Marks he was not much of a drop off from Patterson who I mentioned long ago would play on Sundays.

The keys to the car were his. Be interesting to see which Power 5 ( I assume) he’ll end up at.

Marshall had one of the best defenses.

In 10 games they only gave up 130 points (13 ppg).

Marks had 138 yards rushing against Marshall. From what I can tell, only 1 other Marshall opponent RB had more than 65 yards rushing against them.

This feels like free agency. 10 days no other interesting offers so he stays home. Good for the players. Rough for the schools. Must always be selling your team and situation.

(Also reminds me of the James Harden situation where Houston was out getting former all-stars on his squad but James saw Nets as the best place for himself and forced a trade there. Not equivalent but college players are starting to get more leverage.)

Probably a very smart idea to stay in Buffalo. The lead spot in an offense that has no problem running the ball 40 times a game and just likely sent your predecessor to the NFL... Grass may always look greener, but hard to imagine him landing in a better situation for himself than where he already is.
