The Blade certainly has been a point of contention on this board. Now Alan Block's wife drops this tweet a few days ago. Think what you want, but probably not a good PR move. BTW, she closed her twitter account and resigned from the Ohio Arts Council.

She sounds like a real piece of work.

This type of information affects the entire city and the University. It will never be published in the local paper. There is nothing wrong with it being disclosed on this board.

lol, I'd like to keep this stuff off the planet but, that darn constitution lets her tweet.

Some of the journalists are really caught in the middle here. The extreme nature of her social politics is disturbing enough but how does someone that runs a newspaper not understand digital footrprint? Can they really be that lost from reality?

After what happened at the Capitol Building, I think everyone should pay more attention to people who so willingly share such extreme views on widespread vehicles of social media. While their right to have & voice such opinions is American, the actions they then take to force their opinions on others most certainly is not American, particularly when violence is involved.

My first thought - is the tweet real or fake? My 2nd thought - it doesn't belong on a sports forum. My 3rd thought - if this is real it is terrifying that it comes from someone who may have editorial influence over one of Toledo's major news sources and a news outlet that I depend on for information about our University.

If you depend on the Blade as a source of information on UT you need to find another (there are many others)

No it's not. For you maybe, but not for me. It's only a small part of the BS rhetoric that has been going on for years. but I assume that was Ok for you. I think it's great that someone from the Block family (even if she married into the family) took a shot back at an actual corrupt president-elect. No investigation. We are supposed to believe the Trump Hating chunky head of the Georgia elections - just because he claims to be a Republican?

Likely we will never hear the results of the investigation of the coke head, stripper loving Biden son who was dating his brother's widow at the time he fathered a child with the stripper. Then he marries a woman 16 years younger than him after 6 days of dating. Joe wants everyone to know he is still proud of his crackhead kid - probably because he knows the investigation will lead nowhere and he will not have to answer to the money traced to his accounts. He's not really The Big Guy.

So don't give me your moral high ground about what is unfortunate. I'm not having it, but I love the fact you can't stand the turnabout being fair play. Free speech - right? But I suppose censoring speech and de-platforming conservatives is ok. She should not be allowed to say what she thinks, no matter how crude and unexpected it was.

Pathetic. This board may not be the right place to comment on it - but it is certainly not unfortunate unless you believe only some people have the right to make those types of comments for years. You'll never get it.

MotoRocket, I sort agree in principle, but I believe any talk of for or against the President on this site is not appropriate.
