Fine, Tulane.
Vandy has won 2 nattys in baseball in the last decade and has a basketball program that’s in the NCAA tournament every other season. Not to mention they are the SEC’s version of an Ivy League school.
Nothing that I’m saying about ULM isn’t accurate, I’m not slinging mud here. I hope RR does kick ass there. I’ll come here and eat crow all day.

I understand, trust me. I think Tulane left on their accord as well haha. ULM does have a conference championship in football which Texas State, South, and Georgia State can’t claim.

It sounds like some people are sleeping on ULM’s 29 water-skiing national championships

putting ULM aside for the moment. JMU is not near the top of the add or replacement list. That ship has sailed.

I don’t know if I want the poison of any CUSA teams IF we are to expand though. I think JMU is better than most of them anyway. Adding teams helps balance the East out. We’re good on the West front. Just move Troy over.

The poison of CUSA are the same schools that were holding down the SBC. USM, UAb and Marshall are not the poisons, F_U, MUTS, WKU, UNT and LaTech are the poisons. Once the SBC freed ourselves of them, we have been getting better every day since.

That’s true but I’m not sure if Marshall or UAB would actually join. USM might would.

Don’t get me wrong though. I’d take less money per year to add 2 of those 3. If Texas State wants to play with their Texas brethren I’ll take all 3. CUSA and SBC both at 12 then and then everyone is happy. I know Texas State fans have expressed satisfaction with SBC so by no means am I trying to drop them.

The Sun Belt has now entered MWC territory as is. Expect 2021 to me more like 2020 rankings order of the G5.
I still agree with the original point. Those would be solid additions and make it very interesting down in Cajun country.

I don't think anyone on this board wants LA Tech as a conference member at the expense of ULM. I don't think we want LA Tech even with ULM in conference. We don't LA Tech at all.
That school in Ruston is fine in the C-USA... It has seemingly been decided if we ever expand or have to replace a team that USM, UAB, and Marshall would be the 3 high on the priority list.
I do. I would love an opportunity to bitchslap La Tech on an annual basis. The rivalry has so much potential.

Kicking ULM out is one thing, I’m not suggesting that. Just hypothetical replacement if ULM would ever fold.

Fair point. I’m sure they would rather go FCS than play with us.

your not sure JMU would join, but your advocating for them. Like I said, if a list is being created JMU is not at the top.
